-Irina Y., where did you work at the dawn of a career?
- From 1987 to 1989, I passed an internship at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the 8th city hospital. And there, in the maternity ward, she remained to work as a doctor. We were on duty day and night, it was hard and scary, but the brilliant doctor Antonina Efimovna Sumovskaya supported me in a difficult moment. She was my mentor, helped to master the profession.
- Has the experience become easier to work with?
- On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, it is impossible to get rid of the experience. Moreover, each person has his own psychological level, some can be very hard. I try to explain everything, to tell in detail. A woman with some kind of illness is definitely encouraging her not to feel inferior. A good outcome helps to cope with such experiences, when the patient comes after my treatment recovered.
-How do you manage to achieve a good mood of women who are treating you?
- I miss all patients through myself. I have such a law that they should be treated as oneself or one’s relative. And at the reception it turns out quite naturally, no effort is needed. This is a job and she needs to live.
-When you began to cooperate with Paramonov?
-We are familiar with him about 20. Victor Alexandrovich operated on me and my husband about cancer, so in my life he is like a ray of light. I started working for him as soon as the Central Polyclinic was formed and there was a need for an outpatient gynecologist.
What advice would you give to women?
-To avoid diseases, each person should be examined periodically. I would advise you to undergo preventive examinations and follow the recommendations that the doctor gives. And also not to be afraid of doctors, our attitude towards patients is always benevolent.
